The Analytical Services Section of Chem Coast, Inc., under the direction of Edith Gutierrez, offers state-of-the-art facilities and instrumentation to perform a wide variety of chemical analysis. Services are not only provided to petrochemical customers, but also to Government and non-chemical industries. Laboratory Management is also available to assist in both current work and to advise on the analytical requirements and problem solving resolution of potential new business.
The services of the Chem Coast Laboratory are available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, including Holidays. The Laboratory is staffed with Customer focused professionals that are dedicated to delivering analytical results with high accuracy and precision in a timely manner as required by the customer.
Chem Coast Inc. utilizes ASTM, UOP, ACS, U.S. Pharmacopeia, and customer supplied methodologies in the testing of samples. We are also capable of developing methodology for your facility or requirements. We have a variety of instrumentation including Gas Chromatography using capillary columns and packed columns, Mass Spectrometry, FTIR, Titrators, Distillation Equipment, UV/Visible Spectrophotometry, ICP, and Refinery Gas Analysis.
Our Analytical Testing Group, as well as the entire organization, is an ISO9001:2015 Certified operation. Therefore, all systems, procedures and instructions are documented and followed for each job. All technicians are trained in performing their functions following the instructions and procedures contained in the ISO System.
The Chem Coast Laboratory continues to be the Laboratory of choice for the outsourcing of highly detailed, labor intensive methodologies that are typically outside the capabilities of most Plant Production Laboratories
in the LaPorte, Seabrook and Pasadena areas. Our Laboratory also participates in on-going “Round Robin” analysis with some of our large chemical company customers assuring the accuracy and precision of our analytical results are at parity with the Laboratories of the clients we serve.
