>

November 7, 1997 -- Chem Coast, Inc. received on this date their ISO 9002 certification. Det Norske Veritas (DNV) Certification, Inc. was the company that performed the audits and granted the certification after the company was found to have ZERO nonconformance's in the initial audit. Chem Coast, Inc. certification complies to the ANSI-RAB accreditation requirements.

Chem Coast, Inc. was certified after establishing and maintaining a Quality System in accordance with the requirements of EN ISO9002:1994 "Quality Systems - Model for Quality Assurance in Production, Installations and Servicing." Certification covers Customer Service, Field and Laboratory organizations.

The Chem Coast, Inc. system was audited and found to demonstrate that implementation had been achieved in a Customized System which assures the Quality and Quantity of Chemical as well as Bulk Liquid Cargoes during manufacturing, transportation and storage through logistical and analytical support.

"The Baytown Sun" reported the achievement in their December 10, 1997 newspaper. Their article read as follows:

"Chem Coast Incorporated, 11820 North H. Street, announces that it has been audited and certified as being in compliance with ISO 9002. The audit was held over a two-day period and certification was awarded Nov. 7. Through the hard work of Chem Coast's employees there were no deficiencies noted or recorded during the final audit."

The original DNV certification was valid until November 6, 2000. Chem Coast has since that time participated in numerous Recertification and Surveillance Audits to consistently maintain and improve our ISO certification. Currently, our ISO certification has been audited and has been certified by DAS Certification under the new ISO9001-2015 standards.
